WINDOWS PASSWORD EXPIRED CAN CHANGE DUE TO INSUFFICENT RIGHT

A windows update?? Windows updated itself and when it rebooted and came back up he went to log in, and the WS2 user was prompted that his password has expired, it then presents a change password dialogue. when you try to change the password it says you do not have rights to change password. I was able to fix by cancelling the box and then logging in as ADMINISTRATOR then going to the user. in the user properties it is set that USER MUST CHANGE PASSWORD, USER CAN NOT CHANGE PASSWORD IS ALSO CHECKED , and PASSWORD NEVER EXPIRES is unchecked. That is the problem that passwords are expiring and the user has no rights to set. I set it to PASSWORD NEVER EXPIRES and unchecked the other 2 boxes and then reset the password from the user reset password option. worked fine.
