this is an AVG v9 problem. I had added EXCLUSIONS in RESIDENT SHIELD to the RETAIL directory and the RPRO8.exe and the c:windowssystem32spoolprinters folder. and that did not work

they had me add the following exclusions and this fixed the issue.
– Open the AVG User Interface -> Tools -> Advanced Settings
– Click on the “+” sign next to “Resident Shield”
– Click on “Directory Excludes” and add the following folder to the exclude list: C:WINDOWSsystem32spool

– Click on “Excluded Files” and add the following file into the excluded list: C:WINDOWSsystem32spoolsv.exe

I have replied back to AVG asking that they fix this in an update so we dont have to add this exclusion manually to every cleint. But for now this is the fix. I will let you know if they fix it in an update
