If you run into this with a client, try moving the mouse over the Retail Pro 9 Reports application that is running in the windows taskbar at the bottom. Something about moving the cursor focus to that causes the system to “respond” and you’re ready to move ahead near instantaneously.
RPI is looking into this. But at least we don’t have to wait and make casual conversation while registering reports for a client any long.
