RECEIPT DESIGN NOT PRINTING CASH CHANGE ON GIFT CARD SOLD

funny that no client has ever mentioned this to us….

Our designs typically just have CASH.Amount in a general band by themselves. But when a customer buys an item that is overtendered, and gets changes as cash it only shows the TENDER cash. Example: $45 sale, customer tenders $50 and gets $5 change back. The receipt would show CASH: $50 only.

This becomes a problem for persons buying gift cards and overtendering them with cash. The receipt shows CHANGE in the total amount, but doesn’t detail exactly how much CASH they got back as change.

The solution is to have CASH in its own detailed band, like Credit Card. FYI. In answerbook.
