Plug in power (not USB)
Run USBWINDOWSSETUP.EXE (from the CD)
select Device Name Driver
run OPOS Driversetup.exe (from CD)
Use all defaults
Plug in the USB cable
At this point, the ‘Add New Hardware Wizard’ should pop up….
Choose “No” to using the internet
Choose ‘Automatically Install’ – accept all defaults
START > PROGRAMS > LC OPOS > SETUP
In the setup dialog:
Choose PORT = COM 3;
Choose “Add New LDN” (I chose LC-PD just to simplify things, but it may already present – if so, don’t add new)
On the right side of the window, “walk” down EACH of the buttons in turn, noting the display at the top indicating the results of the button click.
Finally, into RPRO > OPTIONS > WS PREFS > PERIPHERALS > SHOPPER DISPLAY – choose OPOS 1.5; ensure the name “LC-PD” is in the pull-down box, then enter some data to test .
