PIN PAD REPAIR PROCEDURE

EVERYONE READ!!!!

This is the process that ALL PIN PADS coming from a CUSTOMER must follow to ensure a quick turn around for the client. If you have questions, please let me know.

1. NW to Service/Shipping/Purchasing as soon as you know the pin pad is coming in – tech, service, sales, hardware – WHOEVER finds out, send note asap!

Once it is received from customer:

2. SHIPPING
– enter in CC
– send NW to Service/Purchasing that it has arrived
— separate note for each client
– deliver pin pad to service desk

3. SERVICE
– assign to tech to test
– send NW to tech assigned
– print form to follow pin pad

4. TECH
– test and fill out Pin Pad testing form
– send NW to Service/Purchasing with testing results
– return pin pad to service

5. SERVICE
– contact client to see about repair/re-encrypt options depending on testing results

6. SERVICE
– send NW to purchasing on client’s decision
– deliver pin pad & FORM to purchasing

7. PURCHASING
– create SO
– route to shipping to TASQ

When received from TASQ:

8. SHIPPING
– Enter in cc
– NW to service/purchasing
– Deliver to Service

9. SERVICE
– Assign to tech to test
– NW to tech assigned

10. TECH
– NW to service/purchasing with testing results
– Deliver to Purchasing

11. PURCHASING
– invoice
– route to shipping
– NW to service/shipping

12. SHIPPING
– ship to customer
