ELTRON 2844 JEWELRY BACK FEED DISABLE

To turn the backfeed option off when using a eltron 2844, you first must have the eltron 2742 drivers installed. On the general tab, click on printing defaults tab, then in the new window click on the paper/quality tab. Change the paper source from automatically select to “TOF backup disabled”. Close the window, and go to the advanced tab. Click on the printing defaults tab and do the same as above.

If this does not work, the DOS command line to turn the backfeed off is

“Echo JB>LPT#” where the LPT number is the port where the eltron is plugged in.
