If the client does not have a slotted cash drawer, but is accepting debit cards, they will run into this issue. the EFT settings are set to print a credit card copy when updating the receipt. this will tell it to print the debit card copy also, but in peripherals, even if you set the drawer to open on credit card transactions, it does not open on debit cards. if you tell it not to print credit card copy, then you don’t have to worry about it for debit, but the credit card receipt will only print once.

the solution is to set the debit card to print ZERO copies. that way you only have the customer receipt. since it is debit and they put the pin number in, they do not have to get a signature, making the second copy unneccessary.
