Subject: How to complete v9 upgrade in RPOrders 2
Hi Marybeth,
In order to complete your request, please do the following:
1. Ensure the customer is no longer using the V8 license
2. Have your techs go into the RP8 License Manager on the V8 installation and select the Deactivate button. That returns the V8 licenses to us.
3. Then go to RPOrders2, open the client record for UID 52927, go to the Kill Dates section, highlight the Kill Date record and select ‘Manage Kill Date’.

4. Then select the ‘Complete Upgrade’ button. If the deactivation of the V8 license completed successfully, the kill date will be removed from the V9 UID.

Hi Gabe,
I was hoping you could give me instructions on how to deactivate v8 licensing and ‘complete a v9 upgrade’ on the new website. I am fully aware of the process, and I knew where to find it on the old website. But, I have no idea where or how to do it with the new RPOrders website.
Please reply back or give me a call asap. I have a customer that needs to complete this by the end of the week or they will be down.
