CAN’T CHANGE DATE ON DOCUMENTS IN VERSION 8.52

July, Sept, and November 2008 Hotfixes had an issue with security. Only Sysadmin was allowed to change dates on Documents, regardless of SecAdmin Settings.

RTI has fixed this and I have updated the July, Sept, and November 2008 Hotfixes on T:VERSIONS8_SERIESCurrent Hotfixes8.52

If you find a client having this problem, drop in the new RPRO8.SEC (found on root of FTP Server and T drive) into their RPRO folder, and then update this file in SecAdmin.

RPRO > Retail Pro V.8> System > “access modification of document dates” needs to be checked.
