7-SERIES PPM INSTALL

Each install will be case-by-case, but here are the basic steps:

1 – Start with a good copy of 7.63
2 – Load 3/24/05 Hotfix
3 – Install 7-Series PPM
4 – Load PPM Core Updates
5 – Copy 4 files to the EFT folder
PPMLoc.ini
PPMSrvr.ini
PPMCli.ini
ppmlic.dat
6 – WS Prefs
EFT Type = PPM
Require Postal Code… = Yes
Allow Overtender = No (Optional)
EFT Server WS # = ??
7 – Create shortcuts for PPM Server and CC Batch on desktop, add the PPM Server shortcut to Startup.
8 – Reboot

You will likely run into issues after these steps. It may be necessary to start with a fresh install and migrate data from the old install.
